10th & Final Bike Run on Sunday 15th June 2008
in aid of Crumlin Children's Hospital & Cystic Fibrosis

4th JUNE 2008

Are you all revved up for our 10th and Final Bike Run on 15th June 2008? This year’s run is the same as last year, and takes us from Ballyhack to Waterford and Lemybrien, Clonmel and back to Mannion’s Pub in New Ross. We are supporting Crumlin Children’s Hospital again this year and Cystic Fibrosis and also giving a small contribution to New Ross based charity.

  • We will meet on the quayside in Ballyhack from 10.15am where tea, coffee & fresh scones will be served. Refuelling stop for man and machine at 1.15pm in Lemybrien, sandwiches, tea & coffee will be served in Crotty’s Bar. We will arrive back in Mannions Pub, New Ross at 4pm for a hot meal and the craic will be mighty.
  • This year’s special guest will be George Hook, RTE Personality and Rugby Pundit. He will be in Mannion’s Pub to greet us
  • So polish the chrome and dust the leathers. Service your bike, check your brakes and tyres – stay safe.
  • Total amount raised to date is €174,436.00

    As this is our Final Bike Run we would like to thank you for your generous support over the last 10 years.

    Another Successful Bikerun Completed
    26th JUNE 2007

    A Big "Thank You" to everyone for making this run a fantastic success once again.

    With your help we raised €14,525.00 on the day.

    €13,025 will go to Crumlin Children's Hospital and €1,500 will go to New Ross Day Care Centre. Both very needy causes.

    Next year will be our 10th Bike Run and we plan to make it bigger and better than ever. If you have any ides how we might do this please call one of us. If you or someone you know is not using their helicopter on the day of the Bike Run next year we would love to have it as our air support.

    We have our own unique website, but it seems very few people look it up. Please have a look at it and you might see yourself in the photo gallery.

    Once again many thanks, and we hope to see you all next year.

  • Be part of an unforgettable experience riding in convoy with up to 150 other bikes
  • Enjoy the beautiful scenery on land and sea!
  • We will meet on the quayside in Ballyhack from 10.15am where tea, coffee & fresh scones will be served. Refuelling stop for man and machine at 1.15pm in Lemybrien, sandwiches, tea & coffee will be served in Crotty's Bar.     To date we have raised €118,875.00 towards the Chernobyl Children's Project, and €38,746 for Crumlin Children's Hospital, Dublin and €1,500 to New Ross SVP. Total amount raised to date is €159,121.00

    A big thank you to everyone for making this a fantastic success once again. This year we raised €16,500.00   what an amount ... well done to you all.

    To date we have raised €118,875.00 towards the Chernobyl Children's Project, and €22,146 for Crumlin Children's Hospital Dublin.

    We are 99% certain that Eamonn Coughlan will be at Mannion's, and say a few words.

    Mannion's have built a new barn in the garden, and if for any reason you can't make the run, be sure to come to Mannion's for the craic at 4.00pm

    New Web Site Launched

    We now have our own web site where you can see photos of previous bike runs and keep up to date with all our activities.

    We will update the site at regular intervals to let you know of further developments throughout the year. Any suggestions for next years run will be very welcome.
